Sheila Fleet Jewellery, Edinburgh

Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s bustling city centre, Sheila Fleet Jewellery’s new store was designed and renovated in collaboration with Splintr. 

Sheila’s jewellery is designed and handmade in Scotland, taking inspiration from Scotland’s natural dynamic beauty and dramatic landscapes. The architectural interventions and interiors take their cues from this with a focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail.  

The B-listed building had been significantly altered throughout its history. This was carefully unpicked to allow for the new lift and feature staircase to create a two-storey void with a feature rock wall and hand forged stair spindles by Ratho Byres Forge.

The collaborative process between the client and design team has resulted in an immersive and unique experience while meeting the demands of a contemporary retail environment.
