A discreet side extension has given this B-listed stone-built house in the heart of the Duddingston Village Conservation Area a new lease of life.
The extension is built on the footprint of a partially demolished historic extension and provides shelter to the previously external stair to the main house. A new light-filled entrance court has been created at the front with a flexible study/garden room space at the rear opening onto the back garden.
Existing stone wall retained and re-furbished with the new zinc and glazed structure behind.
