Rebecca joined Helen Lucas Architects in 2026 with a strong interest in the studio's sustainability ethos and craft-focused approach. 

With an academic background in English and Art History, Rebecca went on to pursue architecture at postgraduate level, receiving her master's degree from the University of Michigan. Prior to relocating to Edinburgh, Rebecca worked for practices in both Washington DC and London, focusing on public sector and higher education buildings. Throughout her career, Rebecca has drawn upon her background to inform and develop a deeply collaborative and contenxtual approach to design. 

In her current role, Rebecca greatly enjoys working closely with clients to translate their visions into thoughtful, enduring, and joy-filled spaces.
