Clare joined Helen Lucas Architects in 2010, drawn to the practice’s strong focus on sustainable architecture and its innovative approach to conservation-led design. She was promoted to Senior Associate in 2022.

 

With a depth of knowledge and experience, Clare continues to realise complex designs across a diverse portfolio, from cultural and commercial refurbishments to rural new-build homes. Her work aligns each client’s vision with HLA’s practice ethos, creating honest, intentional spaces.

 

Clare’s attention to detail is central to the longevity of her designs. She thoughtfully integrates materials and technologies that support thermal comfort and operational efficiency, helping to create homes and spaces that sit kindly on the earth.
