The remodelling and extension of an existing outbuilding have transformed this Victorian ground floor flat.
A modern, open plan kitchen, dining and living room has been created on the ground floor with a direct relationship to the garden. A new upper bedroom opens up long views across the city to the south. The extension to the east boundary has top light over the kitchen working areas.
We're delighted by the place now. The sense of light and space is amazing, even on the dullest of days.
It makes so much better use of the space and allows us to interact with the garden in a much more enjoyable way. We spend all our time in the back now, cooking, relaxing and playing.
