Nick Green

MA(Hons) MArch ARB Certified Passive House Designer
Nick joined Helen Lucas Architects in 2020 motivated to deliver comfortable and joyful low-energy buildings. He qualified as a Certified Passive House Designer in 2024.
Nick studied at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2016, and was a Royal Scottish Academy John Kinross scholar, undertaking a period of research in Florence in 2016. Nick has worked for practices in Copenhagen and Edinburgh on a number of public sector and community-focused projects and led the award-winning remodelling of an Arts & Crafts house in Edinburgh. He also designs public realm installations, recently for architecture festivals in London and Canada.
Nick enjoys exploring the use of material and colour as an intrinsic part of architecture and brings this joy of design to all aspects of his work.
