Lochside Studios

Set on the edge of a tranquil swimming pond in the heart of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, this project comprises of two timber-clad studios. The studios act as a pair, creating dialogue across the loch with their forms reflecting the dramatic backdrop of the landscape beyond. The dark timber cladding contrasts with the greenery and planting and their simplicity in form was designed to feel like placed objects within the site. The interiors, designed by Colin Parker Furniture, create a contemporary interplay of light and dark tones. Constructed off-site, the studios feature natural wood fibre insulation and timber finishes both inside and out that reflects a commitment to both environmental sensitivity and timeless design.
