A spiral stair provides drama against the double-height window and is one of two connections with the existing upper level while a bespoke pivot-door opens up the lower level onto an external terrace. The client's interest in incorporating a Scandinavian feel was satisfied in a number of ways including the hand-made brick chimney with deep lime mortar joints.
